As someone who has finally taken the plunge into chastity after ages of thinking about it, this is a really good starter. It's functional, solid, and very very nice. A bit heavy, because duh it's metal, but only enough to remind you it's there without being a burden or pain.

I bought a steel HOD S77 in the small size with a 45mm curved ring. I had been using a plastic device previously and although I liked the sissy pink colour and I wore it often, I never found it particularly comfy. Having researched metal cages, I found the HOD website by chance and was taken in by the quality of their devices and the very realistic pricing. The S77 appealled to me as I wanted to put my puny cock into something aesthetically pleasing whilst still being able to see it in all its pathetic glory. I was apprehensive when it arrived (very quickly I might add) and after some fiddling, I got myself locked in. The immediate feeling was almost overwhelming - so comfortable. I felt at home with it straight away and have had it on most of the time since. I have had to take the cage part off in the early hours as I find my a.m. 'wood' causes a kittle too much discomfort, though I also feel I should try and get over this to fully appreciate what chastity is going to achieve for me and I want to be locked long-term. I will soon be buying something like the S87, S203 or S207 just to have something in a slightly different style, which can be work whilst cleaning my S77. UIltimately, I'm hoping to shrink into a tiny cage commensurate with my redundant appendage. My advice - don't hesitate to buy, you won't look back!!

This is my 2nd cage and my first in metal. I already own ‘the Vice’ from Locked in Lust and I do recommend getting a cheaper plastic one with multiple rings to try out before stepping up your game and moving onto metal. Just to get an idea of your measurements.

I’m carrying 6.5 inches when erect. Going by gay guy statistics I’m quite a bit thicker and with a bigger head than most guys (feel free to snigger). For me the problem is mainly the circumference of the cage, as almost the entire cage is taken up the head, and I’m getting heavily muffin-toped (google ‘tied raw beef’ for visual representation), with the shaft getting uncomfortably squished into the remaining inch. However, since this doesn’t break the bank I’ll soon be able to get a new one with these things in mind.

As I said, this problem applies to me. Most guys are probably going to fit into this without issues. The reason this is getting a 4-star and not the perfect score is because of the ring. It is a solid piece of circular metal, which I find very difficult to get on and off. This problem I expect is universal, and some form of top opening would have been nice to easier get the ballsack through. Once you have managed to push everything through, the ring is very comfortable and discreet, and could probably be worn for a long time without any indication of chaffing. But to not be able to get it off in an emergency is enough to lose one point.

Ordered this as my 1st metal cage 45mm ring and 40mm cage.

My key holder wants me in this cage full time but I get aroused easily and she can't lock me up yet, I've needed to lock myself.

The cage is cheap, reliable and
quality, smaller than I realized but I can fit comfortably with lube.

My key holder wants to train me to be locked in this cage 24/7 and be able to lock me herself, so she has now order the HOD S100 large with 45mm ring and the HOD S106 with 50mm ring.
Both are just as cheap and they seem similar quality to this cage just slightly bigger at 55mm and 60mm length cage.

If you are easily excited like me I would recommend a slightly bigger cage than the small if you are being lock, the standard to begin maybe but the prices are so low for the quality you can alway purchase a smaller size later.
I've been told the bigger cages will be use to allow me a little room while teasing and the 40mm for everyday.
