Quality Control

Providing you, our customers, with the best quality chastity cages that are safe, secure and comfortable has been our mission since we started House of Denial back in 2017. We work closely with all of our production partners to ensure that every kit we sell meets our very high standards. Not all retailers think this way.
We wanted to explain what we do before offering a new device on our site and the checks that slave D makes before packing and sending your orders.
Our testing process before selling a kit
We always order samples to check them thoroughly before we sell them, but what goes into the testing process before we offer a device on our site?
1. Is it safe?
We check that there are minimal sharp edges and pinch points, ensure that the material is body safe, if any dye or colouring that goes into the material is skin safe, that the lock or cage can be released in the event of it failing, and that it's comfortable to wear long term (if that's what you want or choose to do).
2. Is it secure?
This includes checking the locking mechanism, the cage and ring design and how they fit together, and sizing.
3. Are all of the product details correct?
We take the measurements for each device for our product pages and then we double-check that those are correct. That helps to ensure that you're able to make an informed decision based on your sizing before you buy. I also review legislation for different territories around the world that we sell to and ensure that our products comply with them.
4. Can it be improved in any way?
We don't just stop at one design. We prototype, test, revise, test again, and so on. Once we release a new device the testing continues to see what we can change to further improve for the next version.
We offer feedback very regularly with our manufacturing partners to see what they can do to help us improve and develop better products. Please be aware that many sellers use the same or similar pictures to advertise the products that they sell but they might not be made by the same factories that we work with. This can lead to a broad spectrum of quality available to you, the buyer.
Now what?
Only once we’re satisfied with the results of these tests do we consider selling the product. We’ve rejected hundreds of different designs for a variety of reasons including poor design, terrible post processing, sub-standard materials that are too weak, potentially toxic and might splinter, and unreliable locking mechanisms. Unfortunately we see many of these products on competitor websites including Amazon.
Please remember when an item says “fulfilled by Amazon” it doesn’t mean that they have any involvement in the manufacturing or quality control processes. They’re simply the platform through which the product is sold. The same applies to all of the Chinese based sites including Temu and AliExpress.

Pre-packing checks
When slave D packs your order he goes through rigorous quality control checks with every kit to make sure that it functions correctly. That includes checking that the keys work properly in the lock and that there are no sharp edges (unless they’re intentionally designed that way) that could cause you harm.
Here’s a full list of what he checks:
- Do the parts (cage and rings) fit together properly? He puts them together, puts the lock or padlock into the kit and locks then unlocks it. If issues are found we attempt to fix them so that they function correctly.
- Are all of the parts in the kit? He goes through the list of parts that are supposed to be included in each kit and makes sure that they're all present.
- Does the lock and key set work? He locks and unlocks the set numerous times to make sure that it’s functioning properly.
- Are there any manufacturing errors or issues? He visually looks over each part then runs his hands over the parts to feel for problems. If any marks or scuffs are found from the manufacturing process he attempts to clean them.
Mistakes happen
Look, we’re only human. Mistakes happen and sometimes we miss things. If you receive your order and there are any problems please contact us and we’ll do all we can to resolve it as quickly as possible for you.
One final note from me (Mistress K). I greatly appreciate polite, precise messages. If you’ve found an issue with your order, please don’t forget to include your order number, explain what the issue is and include picture(s) or a video clearly showing the problem. This allows me to find your order and provide a solution to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.
