Stainless steel cages are an excellent choice if you’re intending to wear your cage only term as they’re much easier to keep clean during long locking periods. The open head design is a masochist's dream as you can easily get the tip of a sharp nail between the bars. Before you ask, yes, we’ve tried. Slave D is too big to wear this kit long term but we have played with it during play sessions. He wasn’t a fan. I was.
The stainless steel HoD S146 is available to buy with a hinged 40mm, 45mm, 50mm or 55mm back ring. Some customers don’t like the hinged rings due to the position of the hinge at the bottom. We’ve personally solved this issue by sliding a small flat silicone ring onto the ring to cover the hinge before it’s locked in place or a strip from one of my nylon stockings. Both have worked well.
