Christmas 2020 Posting Dates and Post Brexit Postage Pricing

Before we start with the bad news we want to wish all of our customers who celebrate it a very happy Christmas from us both.

We’ll be working and sending orders up to Tuesday 22nd December, so if you want to order a last minute chastity cage as a Christmas present for yourself or someone else we will do our very best to make sure you receive it on time. Unfortunately we have seen some delays with orders getting delivered due to issues related to the coronavirus and the large increase in packages being sent through Royal Mail that they’re struggling to process on time. All orders are being processed and dispatched on time by us, so our genuine apologies to anyone who doesn’t receive their order on time.

All of our orders are dispatched from the U.K and here’s a list of the last posting dates for domestic and international orders using our standard postal services:

Domestic

Standard UK Tracked - Monday 21st December

Special Next Day Delivery - Tuesday 22nd December

International

Friday 4th December - Australia, New Zealand

Thursday 10th December - Canada, Cyprus, Malta

Friday 11th December - Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Poland, Sweden and United States

Wednesday 16th December - Austria, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland

Friday 18th December - Belgium, France and Luxembourg

We also use FedEx express to send domestic and international orders. Our last postage date for using this service for countries worldwide is Tuesday 22nd December. We highly recommend ordering before that date in case of any delays with delivery.

Our last date for orders before Christmas 2020 will be Tuesday 22nd December. We’ll be back to work on Tuesday 29th December until Thursday 31st December, though our mail will be collected early on that date.

We plan on opening again in the new year on Monday 4th January 2021.

Post Brexit Postage

At the time of writing this there’s still a lot that we don’t know, so we’ll do our best to keep this information updated as soon as we know more.

What we do know

On 1st January 2021 the U.K will leave the European Union. This means that there will be some small changes to the way we process and send your orders. We’ve been in constant dialogue with the postal couriers that we use to send your orders and unfortunately postage prices will be increasing. This only applies to international orders for now as we’ve decided to absorb the small increase in domestic price increases, so you’ll still only pay £1.99 on orders up to £19.99 and postage is still free for orders of £20 or more.

Most couriers have added a “Brexit fee”, which they say is necessary to fund the extra checks and paperwork that will now be required for international shipments.

Currently we charge a flat rate for all standard international orders of £9.99. From 1st January 2021 we’re hoping to keep this price the same, but a number of factors still need to be figured out before we can confirm this.

We use FedEx to send express shipments worldwide. We’ve been given a list of our increased postage costs and will need to adjust postage costs. Here are a few examples of the postage prices that will be charged from 1st January 2021:

United States - £16.99

Germany and France - £18.99

Spain and Italy - £19.49

Canada - £19.99

Australia - £24.99

These postage prices are provisional and are subject to change when we get more information. We’ll update this page when we know more with accurate prices and add more countries.

We are expecting some delivery delays in the first few months of 2021 as couriers become used to the new changes. All orders will still be dispatched on time, but delays with customs and clearance should be expected.

What we don’t know...yet

The U.K currently doesn’t have a trade deal with the European Union and a large number of countries worldwide. As it stands the U.K will be going onto WTO (world trade organisation) trading rules, which means that tariffs will be applied to anyone importing products or services from the U.K. We don’t know what those tariffs will be, but we’ll let you know if/when that happens.

We also don’t know if VAT will be charged on shipments to the EU. Up until now VAT has been charged on EU shipments, but that might not be the case from 1st January. If VAT is charged on top of the postage price increases we’ll update the pricing we’ve mentioned above as our current calculations don’t include VAT.

Please check back for updates. We’ll post any news that we get on Twitter, so if you don’t already follow us please do so that we can keep you up to date.
